The Fire Museum of Maryland presents a showcase of firefighting artifacts, memorabilia, and records dating from 1806 to 1957. Located in the town of Lutherville, it lies due north of downtown Baltimore. Visitors can see such historic objects as a working fire alarm telegraph system, a high pressure water pumping device, and a variety of other exhibits and videos chronicling U.S. firefighting history.
